The women who participate in NEW's programs have one thing in common: they are dedicated to turning their lives around and making positive changes. Below, meet some of the women who have accepted the challenge to take control of their lives and move out of homelessness.

 

Gardenia's Story

Hello, my name is Gardenia and I’m a recovering addict. I have come through the streets of desolation, immorality and depravity. I have come through the avenues of physical and sexual assaults. I have ridden the highway of hopelessness and despair. In every direction I ended nowhere until finally God placed me on a road to recovery.
